Hi all

Time to return to bloggin before my site gets knocked off. 😛

This is the apt time to write abt the gr8 reunion we had in chni at Sterling, Mahapalipuram. A special thanks to Mr. Jude and Mr. Gopi who cordinated well with us for the sweet memories we created those 2 days.

 

Having been in the professional lives for around 6 months., we felt back the xeno(actually means foreign, but here its an antonym of it) feel ourselves. From a horrible (definitely not hectic :P) hours spent in office lone , not able to meet the friends even during weekends., the event was a BIG RELIEF. Esp. you know how I can feel being wid them working in office on 31st Dec Nigth and 1st Jan night.

Be it the same old bullying of our glam doll vikki or cricket tamasha in ground or playin in beach for 2 hours or kuthu dance in nights or small fights in the pool side… every moment was to cherish… We missed some 7 guys (Abis, Ashok, Bharath, Sangu, Mihir, Chan and Yuge) yet due to their own unavoidable reasons.  Yet it s always good to have a strength of 34 get back.

Indian Independance Day @ an MNC

With IT stalwarts throngin every Professional engineering college and companies like TCS, Infosys, Satyam raking in 1000s of employees to increse their head counts, TCS hiring 789 students from a single college, IT buzz is definetely in .in

There has always been a debate goin on, be it GDs in campus recruitment sessions  or TV programmes like Big Talk, or ‘Neeya Naana’ as to MNC s degrade our culture , food, Night life, ‘Living together’, team outings to Pubs, parties, etc. My opinion is that the culture is in the eyes of the people who sees it, and whether it is comfortable to them. It s not a Rocket Science.

Coming to the point, I din expect an MNC like CSC would give importance like it gave during August 15th.

A week prior to Aug 15th CSC announced about the celebartion itenary including

1. Floor Decoration Contest

2. Flower Decoration Contest

3. Mr. & Ms. Patriot Contest

I simply treasured those moments, though we din win any floor decoration. A team of our floor won the 4th Prize for Flower decoration anyway.

‘Professional Ethics’ of Chennai Auto Drivers

Congrats Sachin for crossin 15k Runs in LOIs and crossed 200 fifties totally in tests n ODIs, he s too got the most number of MOM awards. Thala.., I salute U.

I begin wit an 1 minute story I loved very much recently.

A grandma was dreadfully ill and was virtually in her deathbed. Luckily she had all her sons, daughters, and her lovable grandchildren surrounding her in that situation. She asked them, “Please do burn me after my death instead of Burying me….”, all were sad and accepted that. Then she notoriously said, “When u get the ashes of my crematory, jus sow them in Spencer Plaza, Inox, Peppae Pub, and Pizza hut”. Everyone thought she was sharin a lighter moment and asked her the reason.

She said silently, “These are the only places where u people can be seen around, and let me see if u atleast remember me then“.

I m back home for a two day hol, for the technical training for me starts from Monday and may extend till August. Since the trainin may include Saturday, I m off from off for two days.

Had some good experience wit our gr8 ‘Auto’ guys in Chennai. The following are some of the examples of ‘Professional Ethics’ followed by Chennai auto drivers.

1. The very first day I arrived in Chennai, with a huge briefcase cum travel case, I was to leave for my Hotel. It was jus a Km away from the Central Railway station and I knew that it ll hardly take Rs.20 for auto. Since it was 11 PM and I was the last ‘Boni’ that day, none of them( There were 6 – 7 guys around me ready wit auto ) came atleast for 40. Hardtime. I accepted their offer wit no other choice with such a huge travel case.

2. My pal Sen had similar experience too wit auto guys, asking him ‘Mudhal Boni’ like last boni 4 me.

3. An interesting other feature too. It may be useful for first time Chennai goers. If u ever visit spencer plaza and get auto jus infront of it, it may cost jus 75% higher than getting an auto walking some 100 meters away from it. G8 isn’t it.

Anyway u get a gr8 experience daily. I also had a different experience of Hotel bearer returning my tip ‘Rs.1’ 😉 to me. Thalaivar Rajni 1 Rupee vachutu munnuku vandurukaar. He doesn’t knew the value of it. I din tip anythin more. He deserved that only. I don take it anyway embarrasing.

And getting a house for Rent in Chennai is too a gr8 job really. I ll get a house this week, and write the complete experience then.
