When you are hungry for two days in the middle of a desert, even a drop of water would taste like a Vanilla milkshake. Anjaathey, in my personal opinion is, a vanilla milkshake among the recent craps of movies. I dont remember a movie which touched my heart ( Not sentimental but a movie you would say would have given extra 20 rupees to watch ).

If you could tell the gist of the film, How unexpected turns occuring in a Man’s life.

The story revolves around two deatrest friends, Ajmal, one of whom aspire to become a cop and another, Narain wants to lead a jolly life. However the latter is a man of truth though he takes on dum and liquor unlike Ajmal. Due to a hussle on Ajmal’s sister (who loves Narain through the story – A colourfull love) by Prassana, Narain becomes SI by help of his uncle who has some influence.

The situations in which Ajmal and Narain take on interviews is a humourous one. And as expected Ajmal fails in the SI test, and grudges on Narain (“உன்ன மாறி SI ஆளு ஆனா நான் எப்படி டா SI ஆக முடியும்”). He leads his life apart from Narain, when Narain goes for police training. When Narain returns he gets the habits of Liquor and dum, etc. Also there starts the tussle between them, where he develops vengenance against Narain..

Prassana along with pandiarjan takes advantage of this and brings Ajmal to their gang. Their job is to primarily blackmail the families kidnapping the daughters and demand money. Like the one in Kaaka Kakka. The mannerism of Prassana is handled well (yet even the self grown hair seems to be a vigue), without even he showing his stunts., through his well written dialogues and the way he watches his watch.

The investigation of this case is done by ARW (!@#@) whose incharge is Ponvannan. He joins Narain and investigates the case. The series of events which follows is well spanned with enough twists and suspenses which can grip to your seat. Especially the last 15 minutes of the movie gets appluase from all audiences. I am not mentioning about the twists here inorder to keep u gripped during the movie.

The songs gets an average score in the movie, “Kathaazha kannalae kuthathe nee ennais pretty hummable. “Acham thavir, Nayyapudai.. ” is also a good one.

The movie scores in its seat gripping suspenses and reality shown in it, with narain doing a great job unlike today’s build up heroes. Director Miskin is really worth a mention among recent tamil directors. When I came out of the theatre, felt I spent my 30 rupees (infact my friend Bala sponsored ) 😉 for a worthy film. And that feel comes after a loooong time.

Final Touch: Recently a gmail thread was going in our college guys discussion, about the final touch sequences..

Like eg. 1. Enna katu katunu katunalum.. diet la iruken nu sollati eppadi..

2. Ennadhaan 100 figs feb 14 anniku enaku propose panna q kaati ninalum, singam single ah thaan irukum nu dialogue vidati eppadi…

3. Ennathan friends oda photo ethulam oru solo photo illati eppadi!!!!

4. Ennadhaan India match adunaaalum, adhula Sachin nalla adalena epadi…

Andha mari in this movie., Director gives his final touch by making Ajmal see narain wearing the ring as dollar ( the ring which he gave while they stood for each other )

Verict: 8/10

 Cheers,
CK.

Dear all,

Here I am with a review of a dual Sim mobile – Fly B700.

Buying the Phone – Prologue

My search for a good dual sim mobile to be used by my father is ON for nearly two years. First he tried with the small attachment in his 1100 (We have to switch ooff and on) to change the sim operations. Since this din provide enough good., he began to use two phones. Often., carrying those two became very tough as he wears dhothies and not pants (Else he could tuck off the phones in his packets)

After joining to proffession, I bought my close relations small gifts to cherish (From sarees to shirts to gold studs) from my second salary.  Dont ask what I did wid my first (Secret…) 😉

I was having a long thought of getting my Dad something, but thr was not a good chance. Also the money just flew off for various expenses. Now finally I bought the Fly B 700.

Review of Fly B700:

User Review

Whats good:

  • The dual sim support is hassle free with incomings comin from both sims and dedicated outgoing key for each network.
  • Camera is pretty decent, yet there is no flash and night effect is not that good.
  • Audio quality is pretty good and volume is awesome if you need it
  • Call clarity is good
  • Battery stands for long time (with normal use with audio player use now and then) it comes for 2-3 days.
  • The mobile looks stylish

The Bad

  • The ergonomics is bad. The mobile clearly has a cheap quality plastic (Compared to Nokia, SE and Motorola phones)
  • The navigation keys are not user friendly

Overall, it s a good choice of a dual sim phone especiall at its price tag and the features it hosts with that), of the limited dual sim phones in the market. Only Spice and Fly has a variety and easily available dual sim phones.

Epilogue

I am taking this phone as a surprise to my Dad, hope he would love this.. Lets wait till Feb11., I am off to sweet home till Feb 14.

Yet another special review of a favourite goody (To be Delivered to us on Feb11) is coming. Await..
