June 2008

Hi all

It s becoming my routine to tell a story about me getting late for updating my blog. So I ll leave as such this time. This post, we ll take a look at the new version of iPhone and latest iPhone Killers.

iPhone 3G

(Click on the images to enlarge)

Apple had created a buzz and a revolution when it released the iPhone first version earlier., though the phone had many glitches like no 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Camera defects, etc.

The buzz is not any less when it released the next version with features such as 3G, GPS with loaded maps, Support of Microsoft Exchange, Visual Voicemail, the fastest browser Safari, Wifi enabled, built in Google and Yahoo search, 3.5″ display to view videos, added applications, view of Youtube videos made easy, slightly light weight compared to older version. The new iPhone features are marked in bold above. Not here that Bluetooth is still not made available. The top pick of the new version is that, the 8GB version would cost 199$ and 16Gb version would cost 299$. But I am afraid that is a special price given for operator AT&T which releases the Apple iPhone worldwide.

In India, Airtel and Vodafone have started marketing and asking users to book the iPhone (http://www.airtel.in/iphone3g), but I am afraid it would be much more than the (Rs. 8000 – 199$) tag expected. Even I have booked the phone in Airtel, and I cant wait much long to see the features which are supported in India and its price tag in India.

Samsung Omnia

Samsung has released Omnia, its reply to the iPhone 3G, with loads of features as equal as the iPhone, Omnia also features a 5Mp Camera. Needless to say the phone would cost us dearly.

The phone has a 3.2″ display and have good video and audio playback capabilities. Visit http://omnia.samsungmobile.com/ for more. The pricing is not announced yet and the phone will be available in Europe in July.

Nokia Tube

There has been rumours or hot news from symbian-freak.com that Nokia is going to release its version of iPhone killer. The Nokia Tube. The Tube is expected to have a 16M TFT display with 360 x 640 pixels resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The size of the display will be somewhere between 3 and 3.5-inches. The display will offer a tactile feedback but sadly, won’t have multi touch function like the iPhone. No other details are available about the phone.

Well, that s it for now. Catch you in next post, hopefully….. Sooon…..

CK.

Hi all

Long since an idea has been pestering me to write an article on this.  I could not find much time to update the blog..

India – China – US.

We see both countries India and China, galloping each other in the race for the future super power after US. Now though US manintains its dominance over the world, US depends on China and India on a large scale., be it for minute toys, automobiles, food items, software industry, the backbone of every other industry (coz of its well versed e-governence), spirituality 😉 , medical toursim, etc. One of the strategy of US to maintain its control over the world is to develop the techno-nano-blah balh weapons and make the world to see it with an AW!! like when we see the 007 films. They also make a huge amount

http://www.globalissues.org/Geopolitics/ArmsTrade/Spending.asp

The above link gives a sample that the military expenditure around the world. Around 46% of the world military expenditure is by US and 80% of the expenditure rise is due to 2006. Now though the figures are for 2006, I hope the situation might have been worse now for the Iraq war and its under hand help to Pak.

The US – Pak – India – China relation is really a twist and tangle,

  • US gives arms for Pak to eliminate and fight with terrorists 😉
  • Pak rather gives the arms to terrorsits and militants to fight with India
  • US advises Pak to support them to find Osama
  • US avises Pak to support India’s fight against militants 😛
  • Pak plays a double game with militants and US
  • US makes a statement that Osama is in Pak
  • US prez Bush supports outgoing prez Mush over issues now

Finally whoever wins, India is affected.

  • India uses its military might and fights hard to develop a missile or advance a missile technology.
  • The next day, Pak releases a new missile… Now this becomes tricky.
  • There is rumour that China has sold the missile to Pak.
  • US doesn’t like the growth of China over it.  It needs support of India to tacke China.
  • Hence, US strateggically makes the 123 agreement with India, making India to fall in a spider web.
  • Due to the agreement, India acheived nothing till date., the agreement has not shown promise, India spoiled its relation with Iran, Russia.
  • US gained by making India to vote against Iran in the UNO and making India a partner to fight against China.

See now what s the point, who are the allies and who are the wolves…
